10 Courses at Robata Niseko Naniwatei

When it comes to authentic Japanese cuisine and experience in Niseko, there is no other than Robata Niseko Naniwatei. We were fortunate enough to be invited to an exclusive 10 course lunch at their beautiful restaurant situated nearby at Huckleberry Farm. The afternoon was filled with fresh seafood, cooked-to-perfection wagyu beef, as well taiko drumming and rice mochi making. See some of the fun below, and be inspired to try their stunning (and delicious) menu for yourself this winter season!

Naniwatei has been serving in the Susukino area of Sapporo for 55 years. The famous restaurant branch has since extended to Niseko in order to provide Japanese locals and visitors to the area a robata kaiseki experience. Robata meaning a type of charcoal grill used in Japanese cooking, and kaiseki referring to a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner. Think fresh crab, abalone, wagyu beef and much more. The whole experience is topped off with impeccable Japanese hospitality and service. Seating a total of 35 people, take a spot at the chef's lively counter, or relax at a table in the dining room.

We were able to witness rice mochi being made, and enjoyed a performance by Hirafu's best taiko drummers.

With the tables beautifully set, the atmosphere was incredible, and we were truly ready to enjoy every bite of our culinary adventure. Without further ado, we encourage you to make your way down the page (without salivating too much), and experience a glimpse of what it's like to be a guest at Robata Niseko Naniwatei.
