It was a November to remember, now let’s celebrate a snowy December!
It’s fair to say that we were all left wanting a little bit more out of the 2016/17 snow season. So, we are ecstatic to report that it has been an absolutely epic start to the 2017/18 season. Even as we write this blog post, glorious light, dry powder snow is falling to the ground thick and fast.
SnowJapan recorded 188cm of accumulative snowfall for November 2017. This is an impressive amount, and the highest recorded amount in at least the last 5 years. However, many Niseko locals are claiming to have not seen a start to the season this incredible in as many as 20 years. A rare treat for those in town already who are getting fresh lines on the mountain almost every other day.
With so much snow, and a great buzz around town, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable season.
