We are looking for motivated individuals to be the face of our company. If you have excellent organisational and teamwork skills, we want to hear from you. Our Front Desk/Guest Services/Resort Host team will be responsible for welcoming guests, fielding enquiries and going the extra mile to ensure they have an unforgettable experience. In addition, it will be your job to help our guests book their services and activities and provide them with any information they require. Candidates will often be the first point of contact for our guests before, during and after their stay. Our resorts become extremely busy at certain times during the spring/summer season and it is our Front Desk/Guest Services team who make sure that our guests are happy and operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Site Manager and Operations team across all of MnK’s sites
  • Maintain the daily flow of work and decision making
  • Build trusting relationships with our guests and owners
  • Book various activities and services for guests
  • Actively support the promotion and selling of MnK guest services
  • Organising and performing chalet checks before guests arrive and after the guest departs to ensure the property is perfect
  • Checking guests in and out of resort
  • Ensuring our resorts are kept in good condition and run smoothly throughout Golden Week and busy summer camp periods
  • Providing guests with local information and recommendations
  • Post winter season tidying, maintenance and cleaning
  • Occasional guest transport around town
  • Peak periods include: Golden Week between 29 April – 10 May, 2020 and summer camp period between 15 July – 31 August, 2020

Selection Criteria

  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid Japanese Working Holiday Visa
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain an International Driving Permit valid in Japan
  • Applicants must be fluent in English (Japanese and other languages are an advantage)

Working Hours

Expected to be between 20-40 hours a week

Remuneration

¥1,000 per hour
