Our team will explain the ins-and-outs of your MnK accommodation, our complimentary ski shuttle services (Country Resort and The Orchards), and answer all of your questions to ensure that you are comfortably settled in and ready for your holiday.
Throughout your stay, our team is more than happy to assist you with anything from onsen recommendations, babysitting, extra ski lessons to massage bookings. Feel free to drop by and see us at reception, or call us from your MnK accommodation.
Should you require emergency assistance outside of office hours, we also have a team member on call 24 hours a day.
Take the stress out of travel by letting the MnK reservations team book transport for you. We can arrange:
• A private door-to-door airport transfer service to bring you to your accommodation and take you back to the airport at the end of your holiday **;
• A regular scheduled coach, to and from the airport to the Hirafu Welcome Centre with pick-up and drop-off service by an MnK concierge **;
• A rental car(s) to be picked up from the airport, allowing you to make your own way to and from the resort*.
*All drivers must be in possession of a valid International Driving Permit
(In accordance with the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic) or full Japanese driving licence.
** All arranged transport to and from Niseko are not complimentary and fees vary depending on provider and mode of transport.
Once at your accommodation, there are local taxis, trains and tour services that you can utilise to explore the exciting areas around Niseko.
Country Resort and The Orchards both offer complimentary MnK shuttle services to our guests from 1 December - 31 March. Please see below for more details regarding the specific services relevant to the resort property you are staying in. Akazora, being situated in the heart of Hirafu village, is serviced by the Grand Hirafu and Hanazono shuttles on a regular basis (not by MnK), with the stop situated just in front of the lobby.
Complimentary Ski Shuttle Service
For our guests at The Orchards, we provide a complimentary shuttle service to and from anywhere within the Niseko United ski area (between the hours of 8am - 10pm). In the evening (between the hours of 6pm - 10pm), we offer restaurant drop off and pick up to Kutchan and Niseko Town. To manage demand and availability, please pre-book your shuttles at least 45 minutes in advance. Please note, all transport requires advance booking and is subject to availability.
Scheduled Ski Shuttles
Our complimentary Ski Shuttle loops from Country Resort to the slopes in Hirafu Village regularly throughout the day based on a timetable. There are four designated stops guests can choose to use for access to the slopes or local shops and restaurants in Hirafu. The shuttle operates between 8am - 10pm daily. You won't have to carry your gear far as our service will simply pick you up from your door and drop you right at the lifts and it’s just as easy on the way home.
PRE-ARRIVAL GROCERY ORDERS
All MnK properties are fully equipped with modern kitchen facilities. Make the most of your time by pre-ordering your groceries and other supplies, and they will be ready and waiting for you upon arrival. Just ask us for an order form, fill it out and send it back to us at least 14 days before you arrive and we will take care of the rest.

MnK has an ongoing relationship with Niseko United helping our guests save time and hassle as we can order all your lift tickets in advance so they are ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert there is always something new to learn and numerous ways to improve your skiing and snowboarding with the help of a professional instructor. Niseko is a great place to get lessons as there is a good mix of terrain and the snow is often thick, light and plentiful!
MnK has well-established relationships with the best ski schools and can recommend the ideal school to fit your age, ability and preferences.
Private and Group Lesson Information
When booking a lesson, please inform us of your skill level based on the following descriptions:
Skiing or snowboarding:
Level 1 • First time ever skiing/snowboaring, or doing the lesson to gain confidence
Level 2 • Can make a snow plough/side slip but not always link turns
Level 3 • Can link turns on all green terrain with ease and may go to red terrain
Level 4 • Can easily link turns on all red terrain
Level 5 • Can easily link parallel turns on all black terrain
We know that getting the right gear to suit the conditions is crucial for a good time on the slopes. That’s why we recommend pre-booking your equipment to minimise waiting time. Our suppliers have an extensive range of skis and boards in Niseko. With their professionally trained staff, you will find everything you need. We recommend that you allow at least 1 hour at the beginning of your stay to organise and fit your rental equipment, making sure everyone is comfortable before you leave the store. Please forward us your sizes and requirements to help speed up the process, however note that you will still require a fitting.
