TOMO is looking for Cook staff to join our new restaurant team and provide an excellent guest drinking and dining experience. Cook responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. We are looking for a passionate, and like minded persons to be part of our team.

TOMO Restaurant is a cozy cafe and restaurant based around a sharing concept and spirit. The menu and restaurant space are designed to bring people together around great food, drink, and service.
Key Responsibilities
Set up kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment
Study and understand all components of each menu item
Gather and prepare all necessary ingredients before service
Cook and prepare food in a timely manner
Inform wait staff about daily specials
Ensure appealing plate presentation
Monitor food stock
Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Help colleagues and ask for help when needed, jumping in if someone needs assistance (despite their role or section) while maintaining own section
Remain guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Selection Criteria
Resume and references showing experience working in a kitchen is an advantage
Ability to keep all work areas stocked and clean
Positive attitude with an adaptable and flexible nature
