Other Family Friendly Activities

Whatever your age, there is an activity for everyone in Niseko during the green season. We have compiled a list of recommended activities for the whole family to enjoy in the area. *These activities cannot be booked through MnK Niseko. Please book directly with each of the service providers.

1. ‍NAC Indoor Rock Climbing

Niseko's only indoor climbing gym. There are rope courses with an 11m high wall to suit beginners and experts, with a bouldering area as well. Must be 100 cm in height.

Opening hours: 9:00am to 7:30pm
Duration: In their operation hours
Price: Rope climbing (2 hours) : ¥2,000 (13+), ¥1,700 (7-12)

2. PURE at Niseko Village*****

PURE at Niseko Village is a nature activity center that is perfect for diverse interests. It is easily one of the best ways to experience Hokkaido during the warmer summer months as a family. Activities at PURE include tree trekking, zip-lining, rail slides, mountain biking, quick jump and much more.

(1 July ~ 9 October 2023)

Opening hours: Open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm | Open on weekends and Public holidays (1 September - 10 October)
Duration: 3.5 hours
Prices: Pure Super Passport: Adult (13+) ¥4,500 | Child (Under 12) ¥3,500 *No reservation required

3. HANAZONO ZIP FLIGHT @ Hanazono Resort*****

Hanazono Zip Flight will take you through a lifetime flying experience.  The total zip tour distance is 2,591 meters in length, and it is the longest in Japan and Asia.

Opening hours: 29 April ~ 15 October
Duration: 2 hours (Guided tour)
Prices: Full package ¥15,000 (13+), ¥12,000 (7-12)

4. Mountain Lights @ Hanazono Resort*****

Niseko Hanazono Resort will present an immersive large-scale art installation of light, known as the “ Mountain Lights” event. This illumination event is being created by using fiber optic, creating a total of 180,000 subtle points of light which comes together about 1,300 meters long. It will be illuminating at the foot of the Annupuri Mountains, which will make you feel that thousands of Fireflies flying and blending into the surrounding nature harmoniously. A perfect evening event for all ages.

Opening hours: 1 July ~ October 9 from sunset
Duration: about 1.5 hours
Prices: ¥2,560 (Adult) ~ , ¥1,200 (Under 12) ~, Free for children 6 years and below

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to the activity start date will incur no penalties except an administration fee.
  • Cancellations made on or within 14 days prior to the activity start date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • By reserving guest services through MnK Niseko, you accept that cancellation and amendment fees may apply to any reservation irrespective if payment has been made. Please check with MnK Niseko about specific cancellation fees that may apply to your reservation.
