We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring kitchen efficiency, and maintaining food safety standards. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Plan and create menu items, ensuring variety and nutritional value.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
  • Monitor food storage and waste reduction.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, if applicable.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols in food handling and kitchen operations.

Key Qualities

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role.
  • Culinary school training or relevant certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for food.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Hours

Minimum of 16 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week

Remuneration

Starting at ¥1,800 per hour to ¥2,500 depending on experience and/or language ability
