EdVenture by MnK Niseko Summer Camp

Since 2011, the team at EdVenture has been providing children and their families with unique summer camp experiences in Niseko, Hokkaido. Our programs see children connect from all over the world to live, learn and discover in nature, all the while developing their English language skills in a fun and supportive environment. Each day with EdVenture looks a little different. However, you can always expect to find elements of nature, lots of outdoor activities, and a whole heap of fun in your experience.

1. Shizen Program

The Shizen Program caters to children aged 4-8 new to English, seeking an immersive experience amidst Niseko's natural wonders. Over three days at Country Resort, campers engage in thrilling and educational activities, fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for nature. Led by native speakers, activities ensure an immersive English environment.
Duration: 3 days, Monday - Wednesday
Recommended for children: 4–8 years
Lunch: Lunch is provided

2. Family Program

The Family Program, running for five days, offers an ideal summer camp experience for children who enjoy the company of their parents. Tailored for families desiring quality time together, it includes parent-child-friendly activities highlighting Niseko's scenic wonders from Monday to Wednesday. The week culminates in a special overnight camping trip at a picturesque location outside Niseko.
Duration: 5 days, Parents join Mon-Fri (1 parent per child)
Recommended for children: 3–8 years
Lunch: Mon-Wed lunches not provided, food during camping trip provided

3. Moiwa Program

The Moiwa Program spans five days, offering a comprehensive summer camp experience for kids eager to explore independence. Tailored for those taking their first steps away from parents, it allows them to join for a camping experience on Thursday. Activities showcasing Niseko's wonders are featured from Mon to Wed, ending with an overnight camping trip outside Niseko.
Duration: 5 days, Monday - Friday, Parents join camping trip (1 parent per child)
Recommended for children: 6-10 years
Lunch: Mon-Wed lunches, food during camping trip provided

4. Yotei Program

The Yotei Program spans five immersive days, offering pre-teens a summer camp focused on independence and outdoor education. Tailored for autonomy, it features engaging activities from Mon to Fri, ending with a camping trip. It promotes independence and encourages role modeling. Join us for discovery, empowerment, and learning!
Duration: 5 days, Monday - Friday, Kids participate 100% independently
Recommended for children: 9–13 years
Lunch: Mon-Wed lunches, food during camping trip provided

5. Rishiri Program

The Rishiri program, a residential camp for children aged 13 and up, reconnects youth with nature through safe outdoor experiences. Activities like hiking, and camping emphasize teamwork and discovery. Campers stay in chalets at Country Resort Mon to Wed and camp Thu to Fri, aiming to summit Mt. Annupuri or Mt. Yotei by week's end. Challenges foster resilience, camaraderie, and self-awareness. Pick-up is Sat morning, celebrating Friday's conquests. Join for adventure, learning, and reaching new heights!
Duration: 6 nights & 7 days, Sunday - Saturday, Kids participate 100% independently
Recommended for children: 13+ years
Lunch: Lunch/dinner is provided

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to the activity start date will incur no penalties except an administration fee.
  • Cancellations made on or within 14 days prior to the activity start date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • By reserving guest services through MnK Niseko, you accept that cancellation and amendment fees may apply to any reservation irrespective if payment has been made. Please check with MnK Niseko about specific cancellation fees that may apply to your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to the camp start date incur a cancellation fee of ¥10,000. Any amendments made before this date are subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made 14 – 7 days from the camp start date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount
  • Cancellations made 7 days or less from the camp start date will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking amount
  • Cancellations made the day of activity (camp, lesson, guest service) due to sickness, may be eligible for a refund subject to their discretion.
