Nature Hikes

Explore Niseko’s natural landscapes with guided hikes through forests, wetlands, and mountain trails. Choose from 3 different routes suitable for families and outdoor enthusiasts of varying experience levels.

All hikes are guided by MnK Experiences staff and are subject to weather conditions.

Minimum 2 participants required. Maximum 7 participants per tour.

Lake Hangetsu Nature Hike
A family-friendly hike around the scenic Lake Hangetsu area featuring forest trails, lake views, and opportunities to spot local wildlife. Suitable for beginners and younger children.
Start times: 09:00 or 12:00
Duration: 3 hours
Minimum age: 6+

Shinsennuma Nature Hike
Explore the peaceful wetlands and walking trails of Shinsennuma on a guided hike designed for families and casual hikers. Enjoy Niseko’s alpine scenery along easy-to-moderate trails.
Start times: 09:00 or 12:00
Duration: 3 hours
Minimum age: 8+

Mt. Annupuri or Mt. Iwaonupuri Hike
A more challenging guided hike with panoramic views of Niseko’s mountains and surrounding landscapes. Recommended for active families and guests looking for a longer hiking experience.
Start times: 09:00 or 13:00
Duration: 4 hours
Minimum age: 10+

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to the activity start date will incur no penalties except an administration fee.
  • Cancellations made on or within 14 days prior to the activity start date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • By reserving guest services through MnK Niseko, you accept that cancellation and amendment fees may apply to any reservation irrespective if payment has been made. Please check with MnK Niseko about specific cancellation fees that may apply to your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more before the activity date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before the activity date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made 7 days or less before the activity date are non-refundable.
  • If cancellation is required within 72 hours of the activity date due to illness, refunds or rescheduling may be considered upon presentation of a valid medical certificate and at the discretion of MnK.
