Rafting

Rafting is easily one of Niseko's most loved water sports, and can be enjoyed throughout spring and summer. The beautiful Shiribetsu River runs through Niseko, and provides the ultimate setting for outdoor adventure.

1. NAC Spring Rafting

With the snowmelt after winter, water levels rise up to 2m high. Enjoy this exciting 12 km course on the Shiribetsu River, and take in the beauty of the surrounding area. An adventure suitable for all abilities, and a highly recommended activity.

Dates: April 4 – Early June, 2026
Start times: 9:10 or 13:10
Duration: 3.5 hours
Ages: 13+

Prices:

Adult (13+): ¥6,980
Private boat (up to 7 people): ¥34,900

2. NAC Summer Half Day Rafting

Summer rafting on the Shiribetsu River is a fun and exciting way to experience Niseko's iconic mountain landscape. Enjoy spectacular views of Mt Yotei on this 7 km course, with plenty of opportunities to splash around in the white water waves.

Dates: June 1 – November 3, 2026
Start times: 9:30 or 13:30
Duration: 3.5 hours
Ages: 6+

Prices:

Adult (13+): ¥6,980
Child (7-12): ¥4,890
Private boat (up to 7 people): ¥34,900

3. NAC Half Day Family Rafting

NAC's family rafting tour takes advantage of a quieter section of the Shiribetsu River so that the whole family can have an enjoyable and safe experience. Families with children 3 years and over can participate in this rafting experience.

Dates: June – August 31, 2026
Start times: 10:00 or 13:00
Duration: 2.5 hours
Age restriction: 3+ (At least one guardian is needed per child ages 3-6)

Prices:

Adult (13+): ¥5,980
Child (6-12): ¥3,500
Child (3-5): ¥2,300
Private boat (up to 7 people): ¥29,900

Things to note:

  • Please meet at the NAC Activities Desk at least 20 minutes prior to tour start time.
  • Minimum of 2 people required for tours to operate

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made on or before 15 days prior to the activity start date will incur no penalties except an administration fee.
  • Cancellations made on or within 14 days prior to the activity start date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • By reserving guest services through MnK Niseko, you accept that cancellation and amendment fees may apply to any reservation irrespective if payment has been made. Please check with MnK Niseko about specific cancellation fees that may apply to your reservation.
