The Human Resources Department is a vital part of any organization, responsible for managing the employee lifecycle—from recruitment to retirement. HR plays a key role in shaping company culture, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and fostering a productive and positive work environment. HR serves as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring a balanced, fair, and efficient work environment. The department not only focuses on administrative tasks but also plays a strategic role in shaping an organization’s long-term success.

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive person to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a combination of human resources, administrative tasks, and front-desk duties. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and labour laws.
  • Support payroll processing by gathering and verifying employee attendance and leave records.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Organise and maintain HR files, databases, and documentation.
  • Other administrative tasks as required by the HR Manager.
  • Greet and welcome visitors professionally.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
  • Provide general support to employees and clients as needed.

Key Qualities

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google work place.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic Japanese skills would be preferred.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Japanese Driving License or International Drivers Permit (IDP)

Working Hours

Average 40 hours, 5 days/week

Remuneration

Starting at ¥250,000 - ¥325,000 per month depending on experience and/or language ability
