Digital Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Team is responsible for supporting and promoting MnK Niseko’s brands across accommodation, real estate, hospitality, food and beverage, snowsports, and EdVenture Kids Camp. The team works across a wide range of digital and print marketing activities, including content creation, social media, websites, advertising, branding, and internal communications.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across multiple brands and departments at MnK. This role is suited to someone with practical marketing experience and an understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and brand communication.
The Digital Marketing Assistant will support a range of operational and creative tasks, including website updates, social media content creation, digital and printed materials, reports, and internal communications. This role is intended to support ongoing marketing activities and improve overall team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day marketing tasks across multiple brands and departments
- Create, edit, and publish social media content
- Update website content and CMS items
- Design and edit digital and printed marketing materials
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Prepare reports and internal communication materials
- Coordinate marketing-related requests from internal teams
- Support advertising and campaign-related tasks
- Maintain consistency across brand materials and communications
Key Qualities
- Native-level or near-native Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent) with business-level English proficiency required
- Understanding of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Central (Webmasters), and others
- Knowledge of the latest market trends and social media marketing techniques
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct in-depth research
- Familiarity with different social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Must have or be able to obtain a Japanese Driver’s License or International Drivers Permit (IDP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Photography skills or experience
- Videography, video editing skills or experience
- Experience with Webflow, website design, UX/UI, or CMS platforms
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), ad analytics, or reporting
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and Ad Manager
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, real estate, or ski industry-related businesses
- Additional language skills such as Chinese or Thai
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Remuneration
¥265,000–¥290,000 per month, commensurate with experience and language ability.
