EdVenture Junior Guest Experience Leader

EdVenture is an immersive camp experience in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. Designed to help families make the most of Hokkaido’s incredible green season. The week-long programs connect children and young people to new friends from around the world, learning new skills, with their family members in innovative ways. The camp takes full advantage of its location nestled between the iconic Mount Yotei and Mount Annupuri in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. That could mean driving a guest to the mountain, helping to clear snow, or participating in a brainstorming sessions.
As an EdVenture Guest Experience Junior Leader, you'll be a crucial part of our team, embodying the roles of mentor, leader, and friend to our staff, campers, and parents. Your responsibilities will include leading young guest experience staff, designing programs, and ensuring the smooth operation of all EdVenture activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Passion for working with children, and parents, and being part of a collaborative team
- Previous teaching or camp counseling experience preferred
- Valid working holiday visa, Japanese citizenship, or eligibility for sponsorship visa
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese or Mandarin advantageous
- Comfort working outdoors in diverse weather conditions
- Possession of a valid Japanese driver’s license or International Driving Permit preferred
- Snow Sports (ski or snowboard) instructor qualification advantageous
- First aid qualifications beneficial
Key Qualities
- Enjoy working with children, parents, and being part of a team.
- Previous teaching or camp counseling experience preferred
- Must hold a valid working holiday visa or be a Japanese citizen or eligible for a sponsorship visa
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Japanese or Mandarin is an advantage
- Willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
- Must hold a valid Japanese driver’s license or International Driving Permit

Working Hours
40 hours per week
Remuneration
Starting at ¥240,000 per month to ¥300,000 depending on experience and/or language ability
