Proficiency in English is required; Japanese or other language skills are a plus.

As part of our food and beverage team, you'll prepare and cook meals for EdVenture guests during their stay, helping deliver delicious, nutritious food options. Your contributions will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff and team members.

Key Qualities

  • Experience in cooking and food preparation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Must hold a valid Japanese driving license or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit.
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Japanese or other languages are a plus.
  • Able to provide an up-to-date criminal record background check from the country of residence.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Working Hours

Hours range from 8 to 40 per week, with shifts of 6–8 hours per day. Schedules run up to 6 days per week, with one full day off guaranteed.

Remuneration

¥1,600 – ¥1,800 per hour, determined based on qualifications and experience.
