Management Training Program – Graduate Position

This Graduate Rotational Program is designed for a motivated international graduate seeking broad operational and strategic experience across MnK Niseko’s core business functions. Over 12 months, you will rotate through key departments, each offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. The program aims to develop well-rounded professionals who understand our business holistically and are prepared for future leadership or specialist roles.

Key Responsibilities

You will gain practical experience and contribute to real work across the following areas:

1. Guest Services

  • Support guest check-in/check-out procedures and handle guest inquiries in English and Japanese.
  • Provide local information, coordinate services, and assist with problem resolution.
  • Conduct property checks both pre- and post-guest stays to ensure our properties are maintained in excellent condition.
  • Assisting guests with local transportation and shuttle services
  • Assisting the housekeeping department 
  • Help enhance the overall guest experience. 

2. Experiences Team (EdVenture Kids Club & Elevate Snowsports)

  • Assist in planning and delivering guest experiences (kids camps, outdoor activities, ski/snowboard lessons).
  • Support program logistics and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Work with instructors and camp leaders to ensure safe, enjoyable experiences. 

3. Real Estate

  • Support client interactions in property inquiries, viewings, and market research.
  • Assist with documentation, lead tracking, and client follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand the resort real estate market 

4. Property Management

  • Participate in property maintenance workflows, including inspections, service coordination, and upkeep activities.
  • Support rental bookings, housekeeping coordination, and owner/guest communications.
  • Learn seasonal operations such as snow clearing and preventative maintenance. 

5. Marketing

  • Assist in content creation for web, social media, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support digital marketing tactics and analytics to build guest engagement.
  • Collaborate on seasonal promotions and activity highlights.

6. IT & Data Analytics

  • Support daily IT operations and systems used across the company.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and basic analysis to support business decisions.
  • Help maintain data accuracy and contribute to process improvements using digital tools.

7. Reservations & Sales

  • Support the reservations team with booking management and guest enquiries.
  • Assist with sales-related administration and coordination with internal teams.
  • Help analyze booking trends and support initiatives to improve occupancy and revenue.

8. General Office Support

  • Rotate through administrative tasks such as filing, data management, internal communications, and bilingual support.
  • Support cross-departmental projects and special initiatives. 

Key Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (any field).
  • Business-level English proficiency; conversational Japanese preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Proactive learner with interest in hospitality, real estate, and service operations.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Japanese Driver’s License or an International Driver’s Permit.

Working Hours

40 hours per week

Remuneration

Starting at ¥250,000 - 325,000 per month, depending on experience and/or language ability
