IT & Systems Specialist
Admin, HR, Accounting

MnK Niseko is developing our internal IT function to better support our growing team. We are seeking candidates who are motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic about technology. This role is intentionally broad: we are looking to meet and interview applicants with different skills and experiences, then build the position around the successful candidate’s strengths. The role will evolve over time to suit your unique talents and changing business conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general IT support and troubleshooting for staff, guests & owners (software, hardware, networking, Wi-Fi).
- Assist with administration and integration of software platforms, including organisation administration, CRM, PMS, project management, issue tracking and website hosting systems.
- Research, test, and implement software solutions to improve workflows and efficiency.
- Work with staff across departments to identify business needs and onboard new systems.
- Help the marketing team to maintain and support our websites and customer communication tools.
- Explore and support the implementation of AI solutions (such as chatbots or automation agents).
- Participate in cross-departmental support when required.
Key Qualities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Comfortable working directly with people to understand and solve IT challenges.
- English fluency essential; Japanese language ability highly regarded.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Certificate or degree in a relevant computer science field preferred.
- Experience with one or more of: Google Workspace, Jira, Freshsales and/or other Freshworks software, Webflow, DreamHost or other hosting/DNS management tools, PMS systems, networking setup and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with customer-facing technologies, including AI-driven communication tools.
- Previous experience providing IT support or systems administration.
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Remuneration
Starting at ¥270,000 per month to ¥320,000 depending on experience and/or language ability
