As an EdVenture team member in the Junior Financial Support role, you will play an essential part in assisting with financial operations for our immersive camp experience. Based in Niseko, Hokkaido, you will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and reporting processes, helping to manage camp-related budgets, processing transactions, and ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the operations and management teams to ensure smooth financial operations for EdVenture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in budgeting, financial tracking, and data entry for the camp
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and manage expenses within allocated budgets
  • Help with reconciling financial records, including processing invoices and receipts
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist with the financial preparation for programs, including tracking spending and identifying potential savings
  • Help with any ad-hoc financial tasks as required

Key Qualities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and budgeting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Applicants must be fluent in English; Japanese language skills are a plus
  • Previous experience in a financial support or administrative role is an advantage
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Japanese Driver’s License or International Drivers Permit (IDP)

Working Hours

Average 40 hours, 5 days/week

Remuneration

Starting at ¥250,000 - ¥325,000 per month depending on experience and/or language ability
