Top 7 Reasons to Consider a Spring Ski Holiday in Niseko

Niseko is a phenomenal travel destination year round, but we're here to tell you why it should be top of your list this spring for a ski holiday. Continue reading below for our top seven reasons.

1. Ski or snowboard in the sunshine

From March onwards, you can expect beautiful clear skies and warmer temperatures. However, because of Niseko's high altitude, skiers and snowboarders can still enjoy quality runs until April or May. The best of both worlds!

2. Fast track your skills on the mountain for less

Private ski or snowboard lessons are the most effective way to refine your skills on the mountain. Our in house ski school offers private and group lessons to cater to all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Find out more here.

3. Kids can ski and rent for free

Yes, you heard right! Our partners at Rhythm Japan are generously offering children (0-13 years) free kids' rental equipment for every adult renting a premium or standard package from 1 March, 2020 until the end of the season. Furthermore, kids (7-12 years) can enjoy a complimentary children's lift pass per adult lift pass, purchased for the same length of time. Children under 7 years are always free. All rentals and lift passes can be conveniently booked through our guest services and reservations team prior to your arrival.

4. There's plenty of room to roam

The beauty of spring means that fewer people are on the slopes, offering beginner skiers and snowboarders the confidence to roam free and brush up on their skills. If you've always wanted to learn how to snowboard, then spring is the perfect time.

5. Spring terrain parks offer a change of scenery

Pipes, boxes, rails and jumps of all sizes for all skill levels come to life in spring. If terrain parks are not your forte, you can still catch some of Niseko's most talented riders mid to late March at HANAZONO Niseko's Banked Slalom and Slopestyle competitions.

6. Dine at Niseko's most popular restaurants

With fewer people in town, Niseko's most popular foodie hotspots become a whole lot easier to book. Dine at your favourite restaurants, or try somewhere new like our on site modern Japanese Izakaya, Tomo Niseko.

7. Enjoy off peak accommodation rates and discounts
