Barista & Coffee Cart Attendant

In the role of Barista, you will be in charge of our morning espresso coffee service. You will be required to have experience making all types of espresso coffee and the ability to maintain the equipment. A strong work ethic with a focus on guest service is important in this position. We are looking for passionate and like-minded people to join our team.
English and/or Japanese required. Bilingual applicants preferred.

We provide property management and hospitality management to our 3 locations; Akazora, The Chalets at Country Resort and The Orchards Niseko.  We want to ensure all owners and guests have the most enjoyable and comfortable time with us, and we try to personalise our service to ensure all guests feel welcome and at ease while enjoying their winter escape. During the winter months, we are at our busiest and rely on hiring an incredible crew of winter staff to expand our team and help run our operations through these busy months.

Selection Criteria
  • Experienced in making all types of coffee
  • Experience in a fast-paced café/coffee cart/food cart environment
  • Ability to serve guests and make coffee at the same time
  • A people person, friendly, warm, and guest-centric
  • Cash handling and POS/till experience

Probationary Period

Working Hours
It depends on customer demand and snow conditions, but on average, you can expect to work 40 hours a week. (8 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Remuneration
Starting at ¥1,500 to ¥1,700 per hour, depending on experience and/or language ability
