Resort Facilities

We’re seeking a motivated individual to assist with rubbish collection, snow clearing, and general facilities management at our accommodation resort. If you are fit, healthy, enjoy working outside, and can handle labor-intensive, cold/snowy working conditions, we want to hear from you. Our facilities team will be responsible for the rubbish collection at our resorts, ensuring safety and accessibility for guests, owners, and staff. Candidates should have a manual labor or sporting background with an eye to safety and not be afraid of hard work in the elements.
Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Japanese or other languages are a plus.
About the Company
Key Responsibilities
  • Manual labor all day, every day, not for the faint-hearted.
  • Collecting rubbish from rubbish storages located outside our resort homes and driving it to our central rubbish storage area.
  • Driving a small truck or K truck around MnK Resorts.
  • Maintaining the daily snow clearing flow and reporting any dangerous snow conditions.
  • Manual snow clearing of entrances to offices, vehicles, chalets, balconies, and storage areas.
  • Operating snow clearing machinery, e.g., snow blowers, small trucks/vans.
  • Supporting other teams during busy times, e.g., driving, chalet checks, and small maintenance tasks.
Selection Criteria
  • Experience in a previous manual labour role preferred
  • Used to hard work and working in extreme weather conditions
  • Mature minded and having a sense for safety
  • A willingness to go the extra mile to help out your team/guests and owners
  • Comfortable with prolonged physical work
  • Must have a valid Japanese Working Holiday Visa.
  • Must have or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit
  • Experience driving trucks or using heavy machinery preferred but not necessary

Employment Period
December 2025 - March 2026 (Contract extension possible pending performance and snow conditions)

Working Hours
Depending on customer demand and reservations, working hours can range anywhere from 30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. You will have two full days off each week. (6-8 Hours per day, up to 5 days per week)
Remuneration
¥1,500 - ¥1,700 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
