Snow Clearing Team

We're seeking motivated individuals to assist with the snow clearing at our four resort accommodations. If you are fit, healthy, enjoy working outside and can handle labor-intensive, cold/snowy working conditions, we want to hear from you. Our snow-clearing team will be responsible for keeping our resorts safe and accessible for guests, owners, staff, and vehicles. Candidates should have a manual labor or sporting background with an eye to safety and not be afraid of hard work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual labor all day every day, not for the faint-hearted.
  • Maintain the daily snow clearing flow and reporting any dangerous snow conditions
  • Manual Snow clearing of entrances to offices, vehicles, chalets, balconies, roofs, sheds, and storage areas.
  • Operating snow clearing machinery e.g., snow blowers, small trucks/vans
  • Supporting other teams during busy times e.g., driving, chalet checks, rubbish collection and small maintenance tasks
Selection Criteria
  • Experience in a previous manual labor role preferred
  • Used to hard work and working in extreme weather conditions
  • Mature minded and having a sense for safety
  • A willingness to go the extra mile to help out your team/guests and owners
  • Comfortable with prolonged physical work
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a Japanese Working Holiday Visa.
  • Must have or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit

Employment Period
December 2025 - late February 2026 (Contract extension possible pending performance and snow conditions)
Probationary Period
1 Month
Working Hours
It depends on snow conditions but on average you are expected to work 6-8 hours per day, 2-5 days per week, 16-40 hours per week.
Remuneration
¥1,700 - ¥2,000 per hour depending on experience and language ability.
