Winter Kids' Camp Mentor, EdVenture

As an EdVenture Winter Camp Mentor, you'll play a key role in guiding and supervising children aged 3 to 12 during our winter camp program. You'll lead various activities and help create a fun and safe environment for the children.
Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Japanese or other languages are a plus.
About the Company

EdVenture Winter Camps offer a unique camp experience for children during their time in Niseko, Japan. The program is designed to allow children and mentors to make the most of the incredible powder snow, both on and off the mountain, all whilst building confidence, learning new skills and having fun.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead children in various winter activities and other snow-related adventures.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Plan and execute engaging and educational activities for the camp.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
Selection Criteria
  • Experience working with children in a camp or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must hold a valid Japanese driver's license or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit.
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Employment Period
Medium season, late-November until the end of March | Short season, late-November until the end of February
Probationary Period

Working Hours
Depending on customer demand and reservations, working hours can range anywhere from 8 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. You will have at least one full day off each week. (6-8 Hours per day, up to 6 days per week)
Remuneration
Starting at ¥1,700 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
