Our popular snowshoe tour offers a unique way to explore some of the most breathtaking scenic vantage points and serene snow forests in Niseko. Choose between two stunning routes depending on your group's size and abilities. As a family friendly activity, trails are suitable for children and grandparents alike. First timers can rest assured, as your guide will help you every step of the way, from putting on your snowshoes to learning how to walk in them. Each tour is inclusive of transfers, snowshoes and light refreshments.

This stunning trail begins at The Orchards, and follows along the ridge line overlooking the chalets of Country Resort. On a clear day, expect uninterrupted views of impressive Mt. Yotei and plenty of photo opportunities. Along the way, stop for hot chocolate and light refreshments. Suitable for young children (minimum 4 years old) and first timers.
Start times: AM 9:00am or 9:30am | PM start times available 1:00pm or 1:30pm
Duration: 2 hours (approx. 2km)
Age requirements: 7 years and older
Terrain: Mostly flat with minimal inclines and declines
Difficulty: Easy - suitable for young children and less able people who have never snowshoed before.
What to wear: Ski/Snowboard clothing is advised. Waterproof ski/snowboard pants and jacket, fleece and under layers advised (you can always remove layers if you get too hot!). A good pair of winter boots/shoes (we have some we can lend but numbers/sizes are limited). Gloves, winter hat, googles
What to bring: A small backpack to carry a personal water bottle is recommended
Our Lake Hangetsu trail is perfectly suited for adventurous families and individuals who want to be truly immersed in nature. There is nothing more spectacular than discovering the crescent-shaped moon lake for the first time, frozen and snow filled. Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to the trail head. After a short walk through the picturesque forest you will begin the walk to the base of the lake. Depending on weather conditions, you will be able to witness the peak of Mt. Yotei from the crater. Hot chocolate and light refreshments provided.

Difficulty: Easy - this trail is perfect for adventurous families (minimum 5 years old) who want to really experience the beautiful nature Niseko has to offer.
