If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle and get back to nature, consider a workation (work + vacation), in beautiful Niseko.
Choose your workation style and our recommendations for accommodation, activities and services.
A workation (work + vacation) is a new style of holiday, where travellers continue to work remotely while enjoying activities and experiences in a destination of their choice. With remote and hybrid work now being more common than ever before, more workers are choosing to take a break from their everyday work location and try somewhere new, while not having to compromise on their professional commitments.
Niseko is a great place to try a workation with a relaxing environment, plenty of self-contained accommodation options to choose from, and different activities for all kinds of travellers.
Niseko is a unique part of Japan, where professionals from all over the world gather to work together in a fast-paced, multicultural and entrepreneurial environment. Workations have become popular in Niseko after COVID-19, with many professionals enjoying the comfortable, self-contained accommodation, close facilities and range of activities to enjoy in their downtime.

Niseko's stunning natural landscape is healing for the soul, but sometimes a little more pampering is needed on vacation! The number one way to relax in Niseko is by visiting an onsen, and fortunately there are many for you to try on your workation. We recommend the onsens at Prince Hotel Hirafutei, Goshiki, Yukichichibu and Yugokorotei. For spa treatments, we recommend the spa at AYA Niseko and Reju Spa. If you're looking for a massage, the team at The Orchards can assist you with a reservation at Arigato massage or arrange a therapist to visit you in your chalet.
